Consciousness is not confined to the head

Most people walk around with the feeling that their consciousness, their awareness is chained to the head.

If we look at it objectively, it makes sense as most people connect their sense of awareness to their brain.

This is a common misconception that can limit your ability to experience different realms of consciousness, and different layers of reality.

When we observe this phenomenon properly, there is little evidence that consciousness is stored in the brain. In fact, there is no evidence for that at all.

Since the brain controls many aspects of the body, it’s the natural assumption to say that awareness comes from that same place. Yet scientists have been grappling with the question of where this consciousness arises from, and how?

The truth as I see it is that this cannot be proved scientifically but only experientially and anecdotally.

By assuming your consciousness is no longer tied to the brain, you may begin to experience all sorts of phenomenon that approve of this assumption.

You can move your consciousness into your hands, here, I’m doing this as I’m typing. It actually inhibits my ability to type because I’m becoming more conscious and aware of the miniature movements that the hands and fingers do and move in tandem.

Now you can move your consciousness towards your heart. This will allow you to sense how you are coming into the world more from the heart based center. It will grant you the ability to sense your environment and all that comes with it differently.

For example, coming from the heart to meet others will expand your aura and will give others a feeling of greater warmth and trust in you.

These are all things that happen subconsciously, but can be felt and proved in double blind experiments (even if not through the academia).

There’s a reason this saying “Get out of your head” exists. When you live your whole life “stuck in your head” you leave a lot of consciousness states outside of your reach and perception.

This limits your human experience and doesn’t really allow you to experience the full spectrum of human emotion, energy, and consciousness states.

That’s not to say that being in your head/mind isn’t useful, it also has it’s place. I’m talking here about balance and the fact that most people live inside the mind exclusively.

Give it a go and see how powerful this can become for you.
