Dating Chakra 4 – The Heart Chakra

Welcome to the fourth Article on the Heart Chakra in the series of Dating The Chakras – Series!
I recommend you start reading about the first 3 chakras (Root, Sacral, and Solar Plexus) if you haven’t yet – but if you did, let’s dive right in.
Why should you learn about your Chakras?
Through the exploration of the Chakras you can gain a deeper understanding of:
- The energy and it’s flow in your body
- Who you are, what you are here to do, and what is your true purpose in life
- How to release physical, mental, and energetic blockages
- How to live more abundantly and securely in your life
- Working with your emotions and feelings better
- Increasing the energy levels of your body
- Connecting with the true nature of your Self
- Embracing your inner gifts and powers that you possess
All of these powerful benefits come from raising your awareness levels in the process of understanding your Chakras – your inner energetic system.
What is the Chakra System?
The Chakra System is one of the most ancient energy systems of the body that exist in the world.
The word “Chakra” means Wheel – a wheel of energy that is constantly flowing with energy from the base of your spine to the top of your head.
They are considered as the main centers of energy that are located inside the body and allow for various functions and abilities in the body.
The Chakra system represents the physical and energetic body.
Once one has gained mastery and cleared the blockages and imbalances of the Chakra System, their life force energy can finally flow freely through the body.
This allows for greater health, abundance and prosperity in all walks of life – through relationships, to work, to general health and communication – internally and externally.
There are 7 main chakras that are all interconnected in their energy and balancing levels.
I recommend reading the introduction article of this series before diving into the series Dating The Chakras – Series
Let us begin your date with the fourth Chakra – Your Heart Chakra
Meet The Heart Chakra. The Heart Chakra (Anahata) is located in your chest. If you place your hand on your chest near your heart, that’s where you’ll find it. It is associated with love, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, and connection to other people in the world.
It serves as a bridge between the lower three chakras (Root, Sacral, and Solar Plexus) and the higher three chakras (Throat, Third Eye, and Crown).
Color – Green, Element – Air
The Heart Chakra is the center of love, compassion, and emotional well-being in your body. It is the radiant Chakra of your heart and soul. Through it, you express and embrace love in its purest form, connecting deeply with yourself and others.
Think of it as a swirling ball of energy in that area. When this chakra is balanced, it helps you feel strong pulses of love, joy, and harmony with the world. It gives you the ability to show compassion, and kindness, and help others. Through this chakra, you are able to generously give to others and gracefully receive.
When the Heart chakra is unbalanced or blocked, you may feel an inability to love others, bitterness, loneliness. It can also create heart-related issues, respiratory problems, and immune system disorders.
You may feel like you are closed off from the universal supply, and as if the world is a dark place. This can cause you to lack empathy and care for others and live without joy and HEARTFULNESS.
If your chakra was a partner and she wasn’t feeling aligned, how would you help her? How would you help a partner that is full of love, compassion, and kindness rekindle that space? How would you help her trust and open her giant heart to the world again?
The heart chakra is the naïve lover that wants to give and receive unconditional love, to share kindness, to do good, to act from a place of integrity and believe in the good of the world.
Encourage acts of forgiveness, love, donation, giving, and compassion will do greatly to open the heart chakra and promote healing and movement of the energies in this chakra.

What is the gift of the heart chakra?
Center of Love and Compassion
The Heart Chakra is the center of boundless love and compassion. It is where the purest form of love resides, radiating warmth and acceptance. When your heart chakra is open and balanced, you embrace love for yourself and others unconditionally. You understand the interconnectedness of all beings and strive to cultivate a nurturing and compassionate attitude toward the world.
Self-Love and Emotional Well-being
The Heart Chakra is closely connected to self-love and emotional well-being. When your heart chakra is harmonized, you have a deep sense of self-acceptance and appreciation. You nurture a healthy relationship with yourself, allowing your inner light to shine brightly. This inner harmony positively impacts your emotional state, enabling you to experience joy, peace, and contentment.
Harmony and Relationships
The Heart Chakra plays a vital role in fostering harmonious relationships with others. It enables you to form deep and meaningful connections based on love, empathy, and understanding. When your heart chakra is balanced, you approach relationships with kindness, forgiveness, and compassion. You create a nurturing environment where love can flourish, promoting harmony and unity among individuals.
Signs this Chakra is unbalanced
When this Chakra is blocked you feel as if your ability to love and project your true self into the world diminishes. You feel disconnected from people and places you love. You are not able to fully project your soul into your work and getting into the state of BEING becomes much harder.
You may fear other people, fear getting exploited, and you give conditionally. You are always playing mind games between you and others as you are not connected to the trust and universal supply of the heart chakra and life.
Some of the main symptoms can be:
- Lack of compassion
- Low levels of self-love
- Aggressive behavior
- Decreased kindness
- Heart problems (palpitations, breathing, immune system)
- Decreased ability to connect with others
- Painful relationships with others
- Not able to give and receive Wholeheartedly
My experience with the Solar Plexus Chakra
From my experience the Heart Chakra is one of the most powerful chakras to connect to and heal. When your Heart Chakra is open you are able to create miracles in your life. Your presence becomes more energetic and magnetic.
Recent studies have shown that the heart has a strong magnetic field, in fact, 5000x times stronger than that of the brain. It is one of the most powerful organs and the Heart Chakra is it’s energetic center.
When you unlock this power you are able to affect change and growth in your life and others effortlessly. This energy becomes a part of your magnetic field and people can be instantly healed and elevated just by being around you.
Additionally, you can cultivate a stronger connection between the mind and the heart through opening up the energy of this chakra – and balancing the power of The Third Eye Chakra with this chakra.
Let’s dive into how you can start balancing the Heart Chakra.
How to Balance the Heart Chakra
To balance your Heart Chakra you need to reconnect with your loving, giving, and compassionate side.
This is the part of you that allows yourself to give without expecting anything back – may it be love, possessions, money, kindness or even a smile in the street.
This is the part of you that is loving and good to others, that seeks connection and knows that love is the highest power in the universe.
If your higher Chakras are more about materializing from thin air and connection to spirit and the lower chakras are about survival and taking action – then this Chakra is more about being who you really are, doing what you really want to do, and expressing the infinite love that is already within you.
It is important to have a balance in this chakra between over-giving to over receiving – both will burn you out and leave you feeling drained emotionally and physically. It is important to learn how to create boundaries when giving and receiving in your life. I talk more about this when I discuss the Kabbalist Sephirot. (Articles coming in the topic)
The heart is one of the most important elements in your body to learn and balance and there are endless of ways to do so.
This article gives you the start from which to keep learning in this site – how to balance the heart and make it clean and light.
Exercise to balance the Solar Plexus Chakra
One of the best ways to balance the Heart Chakra is to make amends with yourself and others.
To clear the pathways of resistance between yourself and the world. I talk about this a lot inside my book “Beyond Limits”. In this section I will give you the first way to make amends with yourself directly from the book:
“… 1. Making amends with yourself – To make amends with yourself, you first must clear the pathways that stop you from loving yourself fully and truly. To love yourself doesn’t mean to become complacent and allow yourself to stay where you are. It means to acknowledge you are a work in progress and to love this version of yourself, that is becoming better and better by the day. It means accepting your physical body, your relationship with your past, your failures, your struggles, your weak and strong points, and finding the balance within all of the above. It means letting go of anything that doesn’t serve you and becoming your biggest fan, your own best friend, your personal cheerleader, and your motivator. You don’t need to become ignorant of your limitations and holes in your armor, but you need to love yourself first in order to find the strength to overcome and change them. When you love someone, you do anything in your power to help them, you deserve the same.”

More Practices that can help you unblock the Heart Chakra
The best practices to unblock your Heart Chakra and the Chakra systems in general will always revolve around inner work. It is only through inner work that you begin to see that reality doesn’t happen OUT there. It happens IN there first and only then outside of you.
“There is a magnet in your heart that will attract true friends. That magnet is unselfishness, thinking of others first; when you learn to live for others, they will live for you.”
Paramahansa Yogananda
You are the cause and not the effect. It’s something that may be hard to grasp for those who have lived most of their life with the belief and perception that things happen to them – yet it is a fact that your life is first and foremost an inner experience.
Some of the practices I recommend you integrate in your life for overall well being and directly to unblock, heal, and balance your chakras:
- Meditation – Meditation is the common thread across all inner work. If you are a seasoned reader of my work you already know I treat meditation as a basic foundation for your living. Just like sleep, exercise, eating, and brushing your teeth – meditation is a basic activity that should be incorporated in your life consistently to get the best results and maximize your ability to enjoy and appreciate life. It is also the foundation for anyone wishing to develop a higher spiritual connection to the divine and experience deeper dimensions and understanding to life.
- Journaling – this is another foundational practice that will allow you to dive deeper into your internal world, thought proccesses, emotions, perceptions, beliefs, and habits. It will allow you to connect to your subcosncious mind and bring to surface subcosncous blockages that are holding you back from the goals and success you wish to achieve. Journaling can also be used as a tool to deepen your connection with the Chakras and enhance your natural ability to sense blockages before they even come.
- Kundalini Meditation – Kundalini meditation is a type of meditation that is more focused on moving the natural energy of your body in alignment with your Chakra System and your energetic body. It helps move stagnated energy throughout your body and clear the blockages on a more Energetic level which is faster and more immediate. However it is a more advanced meditation technique and while it does help dissolve blockages faster, a blockage can only truly be dissolved once dealt with at the ROOT and not through quick fixes.
Other activities that may help you feel more grounded and connected to life are regular exercises, walks outside, time spent in nature, family and friends time, maintaining an healthy routine and eating a balanced diet.
The Matching Solfeggio Frequencies for the Heart Chakra
As you may know, the Solfeggio Frequencies are a set of powerful frequencies that interact with different energies and vibrations in your physical and energetic body.
There are 7 main solfeggio frequencies
The 7 Solfeggio frequencies and their effects are:
396 Hz: The frequency of Abundance, liberation and freeing oneself from
negative thoughts and emotions.
417 Hz: The frequency of change and undoing negative patterns or behaviors.
528 Hz: The frequency of transformation and DNA repair, as well as the
frequency of love and compassion.
639 Hz: The frequency of communication, harmonious relationships, and
healing.
741 Hz: The frequency of expression and self-expression, as well as the
frequency of finding solutions and solving problems.
852 Hz: The frequency of spiritual enlightenment and opening up to higher
consciousness.
963 Hz: The frequency of divine connection and channel of light.
I would say that the most fitting Solfeggio frequency to heal the Sacral Chakra would be the 639 Hz that allows you to cultivate a stronger sense of love, compassion, and opening of the heart. In fact, I am listening to this frequency as I am writing this article and feeling the heart expanding effect directly. Use this frequency and experiment with others as well for a balancing effect on your mind and body.
Try them out on Spotify or Youtube to cleanse your aura and your personal frequency.
Just by listening to the calming sounds you’ll already experience an elevated healing effect. Additionally they are great for deep focus and deep work as well.
Challenges in Unblocking the Chakras
At times there may be blockages that are harder and more challenging to unblock and release. These blockages may manifest as amplified symptoms of the fears and physical symptoms outlined above. In these times the best thing to do is to relax, let go, and accept they are part of your reality at the moment. Resisting and battling a blockage will only serve to make it harder to unblock. Through time and perspective you will gain more insights into how and why the blockages have formed, and how you can begin to release them in the way that feels right for you.
In times of challenge it can also be a good decision to get advice from a mentor, a coach, a therapist, a holistic healer or a spiritual teacher you resonate with. They will be able to guide you to your destination in the right pace and shine more light from a vantage point – to help you unclog the block in the easiest and most natural way for you. There is nothing to be ashamed of for asking for help or guidance, it is a natural part of life.
Throughout history we always relied on other people to help us and guide us with wisdom and advice. Whether it be parents, family members, community members, teachers or elders. The point of getting help is to learn how to deal with it alone – not to become dependent on the source of guidance.
If you resonate with my words and guidance, I invite you to explore the possibility of working together and see if we’re a good fit to collaborate on your personal journey here.
