How Consciousness Level affects Environment

I went to a local restaurant-bar a while ago with some friends.

The experience made me realize how un-optimized modern environments are to experience higher consciousness states

When we entered the bar, immediately the music was way too high to be able to talk without raising your voice and getting closer to your friend

On top of that, the music, the atmosphere, the lighting and the seats – everything in unoptimized to having an enjoyable experience with your friends

It is optimized to maximize the profitability of the bar and the high turnover the discomfort creates.

Over the ages, there were many places of gathering for civilization that embodied a higher consciousness state and a more elevated energetical field for the participants.

Let’s take a look at some of them:

  1. Indian guest lounges – In India there are many beautiful restaurants and lounges that are located in magnificent places in nature, such as high mountains, valleys, on rivers or near the beach. These places offer a resort and getaway from the rush of the day, and they offer one of the most pleasant experiences for relaxation, connection, and higher states of mind. In these lounges you usually have to take your shoes off and most of the times the seats are on the floor. The sounds of music are always peaceful and ambient, usually involving Indian music with Sitars and Tablas. The atmosphere is laid back and the service is slow. There’s no rush to leave fast and the orders usually take a long time to arrive. This creates a laid back atmosphere that is great to getting together and connecting with people, without an industrial pace that pushes people into stress. Additionally, the foods are usually more healthy and natural with spices and herbs. The tea made there is exceptionally great for the mind and body, this whole holistic experience creates an elevated state for you and your partners.

  2. Traditional Bedouin hospitality- In the Bedouin tradition, hospitality is one of the highest values. The Bedouin are mostly desert people who live in tents. Arriving to their tents brings a degree of relaxation and comfort. Again, you usually sit on the floor and are welcomed with hot sweet tea and sweets. You are welcomed in a very generous and loving way, and there is never rush or hurry. This traditional approach allows for a more open minded conversation to strike, laid back, and recharged.

  3. Tea Houses in Germany – The European tradition also has beautiful places that are very welcoming, relaxed, laid back and treat you well. You can order incredible pastries and cakes with tea or coffee, and the elevated environment is beautiful. These Tea Houses usually have great art decorating the walls and a more formal approach with chairs and table, yet it still creates a pleasant environment where intelligent conversation and relaxation can occur – all charging you with high energy rather than discharging you.

There are many more examples for places that recharge energy rather than Discharge your energy, and they are the places I recommend you visit.

Of course, there are exceptions to the rule – for example a very loving

fast food restaurant that has unique owners or a special food stand with one of a kind hospitality. The energy is determined by many factors and more importantly by how the place makes you feel.

Energy Grabbers

Here are a few examples for places that will potentially grab you of energy and cause your energy to be discharged:

  1. Fast food chains – when you are walking into a fast food chain, you are immediately greeted by workers who rush to take your order. The sequence of events is completely different than a restaurant with hospitality. In restaurants, you are first sitted, offered something to drink, and then they take your order. In fast food chains, you first have to order and only then take a seat. This is a small symbolic difference that signifies your order is more important than your stay. After you ordered, you don’t get service or hospitality – the main event here is the monetary transaction – not the experience. Additionally, you also get food that is usually already pre-cooked from lower quality, processed ingredients. The food is also cooked mostly by machines, not with human hands or love. This causes your whole experience to be degraded and you will be sapped of energy. I never felt good after eating a fast food meal. It always makes you feel like you got robbed of energy by eating there. There are exceptions to the rules but this is in the vast majority of places I visited.

  2. Bar-restaurants – as in my example at the start, these places sap your energy because they rush to take your order, they raise the volume because this causes you to order more drinks – this has been proven in field studies done in France. So in fact, they prefer your money over your enjoyment or comfort. I don’t know anyone who enjoys going to a bar screaming at their friends but hearing nothing, yet it’s still a social norm in many places around the world. Additionally, the food quality in bars is usually the lowest and with a very high price tag compared to what you get. Needless to say it isn’t cooked with love most of the time. On the other hand I’ve been to bars that are much different than described so I can’t say this is the majority. There are also amazing bars on beaches that are automatically raised in vibration due to the proximity to the beach. The beach mellows out the energy and creates a higher vibrational energy field that the bar can’t overtake.

  3. Malls – The mall is a place that saps your natural energy. This happens because inside the mall is not optimized for the body-mind-spirit and saps away attention rapidly. The mall is filled with signs and advertisements all over the place, it is an artificial building that has one purpose – to sell to you. Many malls make you go through the whole mall to find the exit or elevator to the next floor. A lot of the times, the malls also don’t have a clear path to walk, it’s disorganized on purpose to cause you to enter more shops. Additionally, each shop has different fragrance and smell to stir up different emotions in you. This complete mix with the different smells, sights, noises, and environment causes you to lose orientation and saps your precious energy away. I have never been recharged after visiting a mall. As opposed, Bazaars charge your natural energy higher.

If you seek higher energy places to visit, I highly recommend places that have:

  1. Laid back environments
  2. Good intentioned people
  3. Made with love
  4. Incorporate nature
  5. Have a sense of service and care for you as a customer/visitor

These places will recharge you the most and give you good energy. They will create a pleasant experience even if the material aspects such as the food isn’t the highest level of craftsmanship or the seats are not the most comfortable. The general energy field will compensate for it.
